Back in June, the USBF National Tournament was held in Methuen, Massachusetts, and this year it served as a qualifier for the World Championships of Bocce in Brazil. After a strong bronze-medal finish in Men’s Doubles, I won gold in Precision Shooting, earning a spot on Team USA! It was my second national gold in Precision Shooting and my eighth national medal overall but, most importantly, my first opportunity to compete internationally.
The World Championship takes place October 12–18 in Garibaldi, Brazil. Unfortunately, the USBF doesn’t have the resources to cover all of my travel expenses, so I’m raising $5,000 to help get me to Brazil and represent the USA. Any donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward travel and would mean a tremendous amount to me. And if you’ve never heard of Garibaldi, Google it - it’s beautiful!
